SLIME CARE

PLAYING WITH YOUR SLIME

When you first open your slime, make sure you have clean hands and a clean playing surface.  To test the texture of your slime, quickly poke your finger into it...if it sticks and pulls, we need to care for it..but also if its hard and stiff, it needs some love!

STICKY SLIME

the best thing to help sticky slime is the borax solution sent with your slime.  If you dont have any left, easily make your own with a level teaspoon of powdered Borax to a cup of warm water. ADD SLOWLY so as to not over-activate your slime

STIFF SLIME

WHITE GLUE BASE, (butter, slay, cream cloud , TnG and more)

Vegetable glycerine worked into the slime in small amouts is our favorite choice or you could add some unscented lotion, more white glue OR a dash of water and work into your slime until you get the desired texture.

WOOD GLUE BASE - similar to white glue, add some vegtable glycerine or unscented hand lotion.  Work in gently and fully

FOR CLEAR BASE SLIMES (clear/coated/icee/jelly)...several things will help, leave in the container in the sun for a few days, add small amounts of water OR a drop of vegetable glycerine and work gently into the slime until you get the desired consistency.

Believe it or not, you can also microwave very stiff slime...for seconds at a time, with adult supervision only!

ClOUD SLIME

It's totally normal for cloud slimes to have a small amount of snow fallout.  not to worry, but if it's extreme add a drop of activator at a time until it feels a little rippy but then keep working it until it comes back together.  We like to put our cloud slimes in the refrigerator in between uses...it will be cold and slightly stiff when you take it out, but the more you play with it the more drizzles you'll get!!

SLIME STORAGE

Please always remember to store your slimes in the container it came in making sure to put the lid on tightly.  If you play, care for and store your slime properly it can last a few years!!

***SLIME Messes***

SEVERAL WAYS TO CLEAN A SLIME MESS:

If slime gets on clothing, rugs, furniture, hair or even our pets you can gently remove with lemon juice, white vinegar or hot water.  If its old crusty slime, cover area with iodized salt and let it "melt" the slime then clean with vinegar or hot water.

ALWAYS test a small area first

*PLEASE NOTE- our slimes/doughs are NOT edible. Do Not Eat*
